To keep pace with the national transformation and deepening reform, RIEL has carried out a number of collaborative innovative research projects for the urgent task of achieving the Chinese Government’s ‘Transformation of Environmental Law under the Ecological Civilization Strategy’. Moreover, in the last 5 years, RIEL has undertaken more than 20 international cooperative projects and more than 30 projects authorized by National Social Sciences Fund of China (NSSFC), Major Projects for the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Ecology and Environmental, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Water Resources, State Forestry Administration and other enterprises and public institutions. Also, RIEL has attracted over ten million yuan in scientific research funds.
