From May 19th to 20th, 2018, the "Environmental Law Promotion Action Network Central China Regional Center Construction Workshop" was co-organized by RIEL and the Beijing Nature Friends Foundation. Wuhan University.

The conference aims to promote exchanges and cooperation among regional environmental protection organizations in Central China to promote the solution of regional environmental issues. More than 30 people from 13 environmental protection organizations in Sichuan, Hunan, Anhui and Hubei Provinces, Professor Qin Tianbao, Director of RIEL, Assistant Professor Li Guangbing, Associate Professor Wu Zhiliang and some master’s students attended the meeting.

At noon on the 20th, the meeting was successfully concluded. Prof. Li Guangbing expressed his expectations for the cooperation between RIEL and the environmental protection organizations. He hoped that the students of the environmental law clinic would participate in the action network and work together for environmental protection. Various environmental protection organizations have expressed their desire to establish mutual cooperation, strengthen regional center exchanges, and take actions to change the future.
