The evening of December 15, 2017, the sixty-fourth Luojia series lectures of environmental law, i.e., the 20th Luojia Alumni Salon was held in classroom 325 at law school. This lecture is honored to invite the person in charge of environment and resources law of China law society, the deputy Director of the CPPCC National Committee for social and legal affairs, RIEL part-time Prof. and doctoral tutor Ms. Lv Zhongmei, the topic of her lecture is "the mission and responsibility of the study of environmental law in new era".
This lecture hosted by the deputy Director of RIEL, Ke Jian, China University of Political Science and Law School of civil and economic law Prof. Yu Wenxuan, Prof. Cao Mingde, Peking University Law School Prof. Wang Jin, Lanzhou University School of law Prof. Liu Zhijian, Prof. Huang Hui, Fuzhou University School of law, Shanghai University of political science school of economic law Prof. Wang Wenge attended the lecture and talked, the former Supreme People's Procuratorate theory research institution deputy Director Mr. Liu Shengrong, Prof. Qin Tianbao, Prof. Du Qun, Associate Prof., assistant Director Li Guangbing, Associate Prof., Liu Jing, teachers and doctoral and master students from RIEL and the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Huazhong Normal University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other universities attended the lecture.
At the beginning of the lecture Prof. Lv Zhongmei expressed her gratitude to be invited to participate in Luojia series of lectures. Prof. Lv Zhongmei first pointed out that when China entered the new era, it put forward new requirements for the protection of the ecological environment. As an environmental jurist, we should have the mission and responsibility of the research of environmental law in the new era. The content of the lecture is divided into three parts.
The first part introduces the problems of the new era of environmental law. Prof. Lv Zhongmei first analyzed the connotation of the rule of law of the ecological civilization thought in the new era of Xi Jinping. The second part introduces the new demand for the environmental law in the new era. She suggested, first of all, to form a paradigm of environmental law research. Prof. Lv Zhongmei advocated the necessity of promoting moderate codification and codification of green code in the new era. In the end, Prof. Lv Zhongmei suggested improving the productive capacity of environmental law knowledge. The third part introduces the problems that should be paid attention to in the study of contemporary environmental law.
Later, Prof. Kun made a brief summary and comment on the content of the lecture, and again expressed his welcome and thanks to Prof. Lv Zhongmei. Other Prof.s talked about their views on the content of the lecture. At the end of the lecture, Prof. Qin Tianbao awarded certificates to Prof. Lv Zhongmei, appreciating Prof. Lv Zhongmei guest on the 20th Luojia Alumni Salon. The lecture ended smoothly in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
