The Symposium on the Construction of Environmental Law Academic Journals was Successfully Held

On December 17, 2017, the sixteenth Luojia environmental law forum, i.e., environmental law academic journals construction seminar held in Wuhan University. The conference was sponsored by the Ministry of education, the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences, RIEL of Wuhan University. The Environmental Law Review and the research group of major project of the National Social Science Fund "Research on the multi - governance system based on risk - based environmental governance" helped to organize.

Fifty scholars from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiao Tong University, Lanzhou University, Shandong University, Ocean University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing University, Central South University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Huazhong Normal University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Southeast University, East China University of political science Soochow University, Changzhou University, Hohai University, Shenzhen University, Shanghai Maritime Univeristy, South China University of Technology, Shanghai University of political science, Central South University of Forestry and Technology college and Wuhan University, editors from "Politics and Law", "Journal of Nanjing University of Technology (SOCIAL SCIENCE EDITION)," China Environmental Resources Law Review "," Environmental Resources Law Review "and other publications and Chinese Social Science Publishing, as well as RIEL doctoral and master's students, participated in the forum.

On the morning of December 17th, a brief opening ceremony was held at the meeting. After the opening ceremony, the forum was divided into four issues. The first is "the exchange of experience in the publication of environmental law publications". The second issue is "standardization of academic journals in environmental law". Issue three is "the competitiveness, influence of and path to improve the academic carrier of environmental law ". Issue four is "a proposal for the development of the environmental law review".

After the end of the issue, the forum held a closing ceremony. Prof. Ke Jian, the deputy Director of RIELand the chief editor of the environmental law review, made a closing statement. Prof. Ke said he has benefited greatly from this forum and believes that the difficulties and problems that are now met can be solved. He pointed out that the environmental law review, as an academic carrier, embodies the academic consensus of the academic community. On this basis, it is necessary to recognize self and increase self-confidence. In the end, Prof. Ke once again expressed sincere thanks for the arrival of the attendees and the wonderful speech.
