On the afternoon of April 28, 2017, the award ceremony of the "Yu Chi Teaching Grants/ Scholarship" was held at the Institute of Environmental Law. (Hereinafter referred to as "Yu Chi Company"), Deputy General Manager Mr. Xiao Lingjun, Wuhan Yu Chi Detection Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Zhao Jin, Law School Party Committee, Deputy Secretary Huang Li; Vice Dean of Law School, Director of RIEL, Prof. Qin Tianbao; Deputy Director of RIEL, Prof. Du Qun, Prof. Ke Jianbing, Associate Prof. Li Guangbing, Director Hubin and awarded Teachers and Students, other doctoral students, master students participated in the event.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Associate Prof. Luogi introduced the guests. After that, Prof. Du Qun announced the list of winners: they are Ouyang Xin, Peng Shoujiang, Chen Hanguang, Xiao Longan, Li Shengji, Xu Yaogui, Xu Lianying a total of seven teachers and Qi Wan Wan, Que Jinfeng, Zhu Xiao Xiao, Feng yue a total of four master students.

Subsequently, Ms. Xiao Lingjun, Mr. Zhao Jin, Deputy Secretary Huang Li, Director Qin Tianbao presented the awards to the award-winning teachers and graduate students.

Deputy General Manager Mr. Xiao Lingjun of Yu Chi Company introduced the original intention and meaning of the scholarship, as well as the situation of the cooperation between Yu Chi company and many colleges and universities, expressed the hope to carry out further production and research cooperation with RIEL. Later, Deputy Secretary Huang Li has given a speech.

At the course of speech by awarded teachers and students, Chen Hanguang, Xiao Longan, Li Shengji three teachers and four students have expressed their thanks to Yu Chi Company. The award-winning teachers said they would continue to devote to environmental protection; award-winning students also expressed gratitude, expressing that they will study hard and pay back society.

Finally, Director Qin Tianbao on behalf of RIEL issued a thank certificate to Yu Chi Company, praised Yu Chi Company’s enthusiasm of devoting to public interest affairs and supporting education, giving a model to enterprises to take social responsibility.
