On the evening of May 18, 2017, Wuhan University Environmental Law Institute Luojia Environmental Law Forum forty-ninth lecture was held in the Law School 325 classroom. This the forum had the honor to invite the president of the Intermediate People's Court of Xuzhou City Environment and Resources Tribunal Li Juan, she brought a wonderful lecture entitled " the new development and new problems of environmental justice specialization - the practice of Xuzhou Intermediate People’s Court as a sample".

This lecture was chaired by Prof. Ke Jian from Research Institute of Environmental Law, Wuhan University. Director Hu Bin, Ms. Ge Feng and Ms. Zhou Xiuqin from "Friends of Nature", the Director of Hunan "Shuguang Environmental Charity” Development Center, Ms. Liu Hongli and doctoral and master students attended the lecture.

At the beginning of the lecture, President Li Juan defined the concept of environmental justice specialization. Subsequently, she briefly introduced the process of establishing Xuzhou Intermediate People's Court Environment and Resources Tribunal. Then, President Li Juan introduced in detail the specific measures of the implementation of the concept of restorative justice in Xuzhou Court to create a typical example of environmental protection and a number of specific methods to build a comprehensive management of diversified environmental management system and through a comparative analysis of the Xuzhou city's courts environmental and resources trial in 2015-2016, she gave the reasons for the continuous growth of environmental and resources cases and the new problems faced by environmental resource specialization.

Finally, President Li Juan took Hongshun company waste water case as an example, to introduce the procedural exploration and physical exploration of the first environmental civil litigation cases brought by prosecutors. Subsequently, Prof. Ke Jian and Ms. Ge Feng published their views, the master and doctoral students have also put forward their own questions, President Li Juan answered one by one, this lecture smoothly ended in the warm and relaxed atmosphere.
