Teachers and Students of RIEL attend 2016 Annual Meeting of Hubei Association for Environmental and Resources Law

On November 12, the 2016 Annual Meeting of Hubei Association for Environmental and Resources Law was held in the lecture hall of Huazhong Agricultural University. Prof. Li Qijia, Prof. Du Qun, Dr. Wang Luquan, Duan Weiwei, Che Dongsheng, Du Dianhu, Liu Zhijian, Jiao Yan, Feng jin and other doctoral students and some master students from RIEL participated in the annual meeting.

The thematic report session was chaired by Prof. Du Qun, in which Prof. Li Qijia give a report entitled “On the Epoch Character of Environmental Law”. After that, Prof. Qiu Qiu from made a thematic report on “The Difficult Legislation Issues in Current Yangtze River Basin”.

In the afternoon, Dr. Wang Luquan of RIEL made a keynote speech on “The Supervision Right (Power) of Third Party in Environmental Protection”, he introduced the judicial supervision and administrative assistance supervision of the third party in environmental protection, and also described the source of the third-party supervision. Dr. Che Shengdong talked about the “Study on the Property Right of Land Use in Rural Areas from the Perspective of Environmental Protection”, pointing out that the correctness of land “separation of powers” is gradually recognized by the public.
