Association for Environmental and Resources Law of Guizhou Youth Law Society founded

On June 25, 2016, the founding conference of Association for Environmental and Resources Law of Guizhou Youth Law Society & launch ceremony of Guizhou Golden Monkey Protection Community were held in Guiyang. Dr. Hu Bin, on behalf of the RIEL and China Association for Environmental and Resources Law, was invited.

Lawyer Xie Hong, a doctoral student of RIEL, was elected as the president of the association. The research committee formed the academic committee headed by Prof. Qin Tianbao, and the expert advisory committee headed by Hu Wen who is the vice president of Guizhou Association for Environmental Protection Industry. During the conference, Dr. Hu Bin, on behalf of RIEL, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the director of Guizhou Youth Law Society Sun Guangquan. The Guizhou Golden Monkey Protection Community co-launched by Guizhou Provincial Wildlife Conservation Management Station and Association for Environmental and Resources Law was founded and held a grand opening ceremony.

It is noted that Association for Environmental and Resources Law of Guizhou Youth Law Society is a non-official, multi-participant platform, committed to the legal research for ecological civilization. The Guizhou Golden Monkey Protection Community aims to carry out environmental public education, popularization of biodiversity knowledge, volunteer recruitment, dissemination of ecological civilization concept, in order to protect the golden monkey that is known as endangered species.
