Prof. Cai Shouqiu attends the “First Sino-Mongolian Forum on Environmental and Resources Legal Construction”
Recently, the “First Sino-Mongolian Forum on Environmental and Resources Legal Construction” was successfully held by School of lawyers, Renmin University of China in Mingde Law Building. Prof. Cai Shouqiu, Alumnus Bie Tao, the deputy director of Policy and Regulation Department of Ministry of Environmental Protection, Alumnus Chang Jiwen, the deputy director of Institute for Resources and Environmental Policy of the State Council Development Research Center attended the forum.
On the morning of May 21, the forum was chair by Prof. Liu Ruiqi, the executive dean of school of lawyers, and Prof. Yang Dong, the deputy dean of Law School of Renmin University of China, made a speech and showed a warm welcome to the arrival of Prof. Giu Erdenbragan et al. Prof. Yang said that this was the first communication for environmental and resources legal construction between China and Mongolia, and expected more exchanges between the two countries in the field of environmental law. Prof. Cai Shouqiu, Prof. Giu Erdenbragan, and Deputy Director Bie Tao also put forward their own views about the environmental and resources legal construction.
In the afternoon, Deputy Director Chang Jiwen, Prof. Zhou Ke, Dr. Ba Bajalsaikhan made an in-depth exchange of views on forum topics including “Mongolian environmental laws and regulations” and “social transformation and environmental protection” with other experts. Prof. Hai Tang and Prof. Dai Qin from School of Law, Inner Mongolia University, made reports on prairie protection. Finally, Prof. Liu Ruiqi made a concluding statement and briefly introduced the lawyer practice training in School of lawyers, Renmin University of China to Mongolian representatives.
