RIEL successfully passed the assessment of the Humanities and Social Science Key Research Bases of Ministry of Education

Recently, the Social Science Department of Ministry of Education published the notice of 2015 Assessment of Humanities and Social Science Key Research Bases of Colleges and Universities. Research Institute of Environmental Law, Wuhan University, participated in and successfully passed the assessment, ranking fourth out of nine bases in the field of Law. In addition, RIEL ranks national top 50 in the individual assessment of base capacity building contributing to the community.

The Ministry of Education highly appreciated the considerable progress that Wuhan University and other 6 key research bases had achieved in recent years, as well as pointed out main existing problems in the assessment and specific requirements to further improve the construction. WHU will recently held a wrap-up session to revise and improve the base’s “Thirteen Five” plan in accordance with the notice.
